Project Overview
Following the discontinuation of Cacti by Anheuser-Busch, Travis Scott and his team partnered with Prost Media to create a compelling video campaign that could help reintroduce the alcoholic seltzer to the market. The goal was to showcase the product’s improved ingredients, capture genuine consumer feedback, and provide Cacti with persuasive content to support conversations with potential investors, retailers, and distribution partners.
Cinematography & Techniques
Rather than relying solely on controlled taste tests, we brought Cacti directly to its target audience at a Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg concert. In this energetic, real-world environment, we captured product-focused footage alongside authentic testimonials from first-time tasters. This approach allowed the videos to combine polished brand visuals with spontaneous consumer reactions, creating content that felt credible, engaging, and true to the experience.
Visual Storytelling
The story centered on real people discovering Cacti and sharing their immediate, unfiltered opinions. Their reactions were shaped into three distinct videos: a concise two-minute presentation for prospective partners, a six-minute sales tool for retail outreach, and a longer ten-minute review featuring both positive and negative feedback. Together, the videos served two purposes—building confidence in the brand while also providing Cacti’s leadership with valuable insight into potential improvements to the product and packaging.
The Final Result
Cacti incorporated the videos into sales presentations, outreach emails, and broker communications, using authentic consumer reactions to communicate the product’s potential in a concise and persuasive format. The strategy helped Cacti secure an exclusive agreement with Barclays Center in Brooklyn and finalize a distribution partnership with Best Brands, positioning the company for a strong return to the market.
